Paul Middleton, Art Director

Each week in Creatives on Speed, Joanne Oatts talks to creative thinkers, makers and doers from all walks of life - about creativity and how they use it in their work.

This week: Paul Middleton, Art Director & Camino 'Pilgrim'

On Creatives on Speed this week, we talk to Paul Middleton, advertising Art Director and frequent traveller on 'The Camino'.

Paul speaks about how a love of TV ads growing up fuelled his passion to pursue his chosen career. He tells us how writing to his hero - advertising legend Dave Trott - helped him garner the advice needed to get there. And he shares his enthusiasm for continual learning, through observation of habits and patterns in the work of other creatives.

Paul also talks about his adventures walking the legendary pilgrim route, the Camino de Santiago, and how this has inspired his upcoming book, Slow Down Pilgrim.
